How to grow diamond roses? The cultivation method of Diamond Rose

Diamond Rose, also known as "pocket rose", is a variety of modern rose. It is a deciduous shrub of Rosaceae and Rosa. The plant is tufted, erect growth, 30 cm to 50 cm high, with prickles on the stem and pinnate compound leaves. Diamond Rose like warm and humid, sunny, airy environment, avoid dark, humid and poor ventilation, has a certain cold resistance, suitable for growth in loose and fertile soil containing humus.

The Diamond Rose is small in shape, exquisite and lovely flowers with gorgeous colors. It can also be opened in winter by artificial forcing. It is suitable for small and medium-sized potted plants to decorate halls, balconies, courtyards, and cut flowers.

It has good ventilation and humus. It is suitable for the growth of roses in the moist and humid environment.

In the growing period, it can be maintained in the outdoor sunny and ventilated place. Watering can achieve "see the dry and see the wet". The ponding of basin soil and too dry are not conducive to the plant growth. The plant growth is slow and flowering is rare when the temperature is high in summer. It can be maintained without direct sunlight and good ventilation without fertilization.

Cut off the remaining flowers and branch tips in time after each flower withers. Generally, cut from the upper 0.5cm of the second or third compound leaf to make it take new branches and bloom again. Once a year in early winter, cut off the weak branches, cut the other branches by 1 / 2 to 1 / 3. In winter, bury the flowerpot in the outdoor shelter to the sun or move to the cold room for overwintering. The temperature should not be too high, so as not to sprout in advance and affect the growth of the next year.

It has strong adaptability, cold and drought resistance, and has no strict requirements on soil. However, the micro strip acid sandy loam with rich organic matter and good drainage is the best. It likes light, but too much direct sunlight is not good for the development of flower bud. The petals are easy to be scorched and warm. Generally, the temperature of 22 ~ 25 ℃ is the most suitable temperature, and the high temperature in summer is not conducive to flowering.

I like the environment with sufficient sunshine, good ventilation, good drainage and shelter from the wind. In midsummer, it needs proper shade. The optimum temperature for most varieties is 15-26 ℃ in daytime and 10-15 ℃ in night. It is hardy and dormant when the temperature is lower than 5 ℃ in winter. If the high temperature continued above 30 ℃ in summer, the flowering and quality of most varieties decreased and entered semi resting state.

General varieties can tolerate low temperature of 15 ℃. It requires rich organic matter, fertile and loose slightly acid soil, but it can adapt to a wide range of soil. The relative humidity of air should be 75% ~ 80%, but it can be slightly dry or wet. It has the characteristics of continuous flowering.
